An aerial silks class typically involves learning techniques and routines using long, flowing fabric suspended from the ceiling. Participants, often referred to as aerialists, learn how to climb, wrap, twist, and suspend themselves in various positions while gracefully maneuvering through the silks. These classes typically focus on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness.
We recommend that the athlete's wear leggings and a tight fitting tank top. We do not recommend any lose clothing as you don't want it to get stuck in the silk.
This will be a barefoot class.
